M.A.D. by Paying It Forward
We are really excited to share this update on our M.A.D. Pay It Forward program, .
Huntingdon Elementary is a school in need of therapeutic play equipment for some special children that sometimes get over stimulated. So we want to “Pay It Forward” and get this equipment for them. Some of the things the school needs are Bean Bag Chairs, Portable Trampolines, Special Family Puppets that will help the children that have difficulty expressing themselves, Large carpets with the Alphabet on them. These are just a few of the things these children need.
After speaking with the principle of the school a meeting is being arranged with him, the special educator for the children and the secretary who has several connections with the community to discuss further about the needs of these children.
We will be purchasing one of the items on the list and then challenging other members of the community to also purchase an item on the list and then challenge other members of the community to do the same. Our goal is to get all the items these sweet children need to help make it easier for them to express them selves.
How You Can Help
It would be great if we could get as many people involved as possible. Even if your not in this community you can still help. If you can send in a Family Puppet and then challenge your family and friends to do the same, we can get these children a fun and easy way to help them express themselves.
If you’d like to be M.A.D. and help these children by “Paying It Forward” send us an e-mail from our contact page and we will get right back to you.
