Some Things Of My Own (STOMO) has had a couple of busy months since the last update.

    • In November we received a donation of 10 fleece blankets hand made by 2nd & 3rd grade Girl Scouts Troop #2839 from Indian Ridge Elementary School in Centennial Colorado
    • Also in November we were able to deliver our first 3 bags to foster children. Because of privacy issues I cannot take pictures of the kids but I wish you could see their faces when they receive the bags. Something as simple as a toothbrush just really makes their day and they must have thanked me 3 or 4 times before I left.
    • The first part of December we received more donations from another Girl Scout Troop also from Indian Ridge Elementary School in Centennial Colorado. These are 5th grade girls from Troop 2716. They made fleece blankets, had a toothbrush and toothpaste drive, and also brought many stuffed animals for our kids.
    • We have had many donations from Aurora Alliance Church and Christian Bowling Fellowship and many private donors.
    • Our 501c3 application has been completed and we are now raising the $400.00 needed to send the paperwork to the IRS so that donations can be tax deductible.
