Can mormans marry people that are not virgins? Even if that person would convert from there religion to be a morman?

One of my childhood friends is in a plural marriage… She said it’s a principal that was originally commanded of all Mormons and she said you can’t just change doctrine because the country as a whole looks down on it. The way she put it was if worshipping Jesus became illegal would you stop? So why then stop plural marriages if it is such an important doctrine?

To my disappointment… I learned from my visiting teacher that I will not be able to be sealed to my parents – at all – due to their divorce… Would you help me understand this?

I understand the rules about who can be sealed to who and under what circumstances. My intended is a widower, was married for 45 years and sealed to her. If I convert and we eventually get married I understand that we would eventually go to the Temple to be sealed. How does that work in terms of eternal marriages.

Lets say that a young LDS couple haven’t been able to resist temptation before getting married and the woman is pregnant. What will they have to do in order to be worthy?
