My Beliefs
“As I’ve traveled all over the world, the fact that I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has caused a lot of interesting questions. I’ve received so many letters and e-mails asking things like, What are the basic beliefs of Latter-Day Saints?”
My Testimony
…Some want to know how Debbie and I have been able to maintain a strong marriage — over all these years — while living in the world of show business. Others want to know how we dealt with the challenges of raising a close and happy family in such difficult times.
How do we maintain a balance between work, and family life? Well, you know it’s not always easy, but the following pages are my attempt to explain a way of life that helps answer these kinds of questions. It gives me stability in a world, and in a business, that can be uncertain, compromising, and stressful. It’s the pattern that gives me direction in my life. And, I hope that this information will help answer some of your questions.

I’m Stuck on Mormonism
I’m stuck on Mormonism. I’ve read The Book of Mormon and can see points where it could be true, but also places where I find it hard to believe… Could you tell me what to do?

There Is No Physical Evidence of The Book of Mormon
I’m wondering how you can justify believing in your LDS religion and the book of mormon, when the book of mormon was translated using techniques form the occult? Why, if the book of mormon is true like you believe, is there absolutely no evidence for it?

Struck by the Sense of The Book of Mormon
I’m a 37 year old man that’s been an evangelical Christian for over 23 years. As I’ve read the book of Mormon and the testimony of the early Latter Day Saints leaders and founder, I’m struck by the sense of it. This is so completely the opposite of what I’ve been taught about the Mormon faith.

Angel and a Trumpet
Hi, I passed a Mormon Temple recently and noticed what looked like an angel holding a trumpet on top of the temple. What is the significance of this and who does it represent?

The American Indian and the Book of Mormon
I have worries that if someone like me (American Indian) were to join the LDS faith, I might be looked upon as inferior because of some type of perceived “Lamanite” connection. I hope this is not so and that the church would not look down upon anyone.

Books to Read for Investigator
I’m interested in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I’m thinking about converting. I am trying to read all there is about the religion. What books would you suggest I read before/after I convert?

Do The Members Of The Church Believe There Are Three 2000-Year-Old Men Roaming The Earth Preaching The Gospel?
According to the 29th chapter of 3 Nephi, three of the twelve Nephite disciples desired to remain on Earth to preach the Gospel until Christ’s second coming, and their request was granted so that they should never taste death.
So, basically, my question today is of whether modern-day LDS members believe that there really are three 2000-year-old men roaming the Earth preaching the Gospel. If so, have these men ever revealed their identities to those in LDS congregations?
