I recorded this song about 4 years ago just for the fun of it, but then I realized this would be a perfect song for my 40th anniversary. I proposed to Debbie in Hawaii, so I thought it would be the ideal place to take her and show her this video 40 years later. She had no idea I put this together. It was a complete surprise. 😊
This video shows why I married Debbie Glenn.

Donny, I haven’t seen anything this beautiful in a very long time. It’s so refreshing to see that true love lasts eternally and yours and Debbie’s unequivocal love for each other is no exception. While my own marriage ended two years ago after 31 years, I still believe in eternal love. Perhaps one day, I will be able to have it after all. I adore you. Always have, always will. :). Thanks for once again sharing your lovely family with us. I honestly can’t remember when I wasn’t a fan. We’re the same age and I remember watching Andy Williams with my family, and the love began. Not a puppy love, but a connection that has brought so much joy to my life. I wasn’t one who was upset when you married, I was happy “my” Donny was happy! I teared up when your son’s started telling Debbie how much they loved her. And, when the sweet messages from those grandbabies started, I went from tears to blubber. I have to say that my favourite part (made me teary) was when your missionary son (I think he’s home now) sent his message. Beautiful! I was recalling being over at a friend’s apartment back then and she mentioned that your fiancee lived upstairs from her. She said you were over there visiting her right then, so we all craned our necks up to try and see you, lol. That had to be summer or fall of 1977. I was born just shortly after you and have followed your career with interest, especially admiring how you have stuck to your standards. My husband took me to see the Las Vegas show in May – didn’t think I would ever see you again. He actually enjoyed it. Our grown daughter went with us (she is a music educator In Indiana), the show was wonderful. He enjoyed it, also. I have seen your family many times when we were all younger and still a big fan.
