Very rare DONNY OSMOND record from 1985! This was the Official Song of the 1985 Eighth Annual Los Angeles Street Scene, a short-lived outdoor celebration of the City of Angels that took place annually in downtown Los Angeles ( GUNS ‘N’ ROSES played at the 1985 event!). The A-Side of this recording features lead vocals courtesy of DONNY OSMOND, PHILLIP INGRAM (younger brother of JAMES and a former member of R&B group SWITCH ), and sisters FREDA PAYNE (” Band of Gold “) and SCHERRIE PAYNE (former member of THE SUPREMES ). Each take turns soloing and all join together in the chorus.
