I was so lucky to be at the last week of shows at The Flamingo in November. There were so many emotions that week, tears and laughter at every show. So many of us fans have met each other in Vegas at the shows and have become life long friends. Hopefully we will all meet up again when you tour…hope to see you in Canada! I’m all signed up and waiting for tour details, maybe there’s a few road trips in my future ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿš—

My husband had an auto accident that left him a paraplegic in 1976. My daughter was 7 yrs old and in love with Donny. We managed a trip to Las Vegas 2 yrs later to attend one of your shows. We got on the elevator with you & Marie and I got a quick photo which my daughter took to school for โ€œshow & tellโ€ and lost the photo. You were her dream come true when she got her picture made with you & Marie. Wish we could do a โ€œdo over.โ€

All I can say is that when I 1st see you in 2006 I was star struck, but over the years and at different times I’ve meet you , you are just wonderfull and comfortable to be with like your brothers , I would just like to say my husband had never been on a aeroplane but took me all the way to Vegas to meet you, ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’•I loved the 50th anniversary in London I went to all 3 shows it was like Christmas every day in the DVD it is my 50th Anniversary balloon that is shown in the audience, I’ve been so LUCKY to have had a husband that has helped me fullfill my dream in meeting you on a few accations, Thank you for being you your just wonderfull, Thank you , love Hazel xxx

Back in the early Eighties you both plus Jimmy, and Alan came to Australia. I being a member of the LDS Church was asked to drive you around to a couple of firesides.. I had my son with me . It was great to meet you all and to talk to you. I do have a couple of Photo. But at present am in the throws of moving, so can’t put my hands on them at present. In 1983, I took 25 Kids to the USA on a basketball tour 12 boys and 13 girls . We ran into Jimmy at Knotsberry Farm. The kids were so amazed when he saw me and we shook hands and talked for about ten minutes. They could not believe That I knew him. We hugged and said goodbye to each other, and from then On The kids (13-17 years old ) looked up to me for the whole five week tour. We went to Canada, Oregon, Washington State and California. The reason Jimmy and I got on so well was he was holding up the fireside with a general Authority, and I had to find him. He was in the Mens Room air blowing his hair. I said to him he needed a haircut like mine which was a crew cut. here was more said but will let it go. I really appreciated meeting & driving you and and the family. Marie was just charming. My son fell head over heels in love at first sight with her. Wonderful memories, to look back on. Sadly I lost my wife six years ago and will 83 on the 3rd January 2020, am having a new knee joint on 14th Feb , so don’t get around to well at present. and I am Lost without my Darling wife Patricia Rae Cooper..we were married for 50 years two months & 8 days, also married in sealed In the Hamilton Temple in 1976 with our four children with us. Recently I was attacked by a man with two knives in a road rage incident, I am physically ok but mentally scarred at present. I sat still and smiled at him for ten minutes it seemed to bewilder him & he let me go, then within 5 minutes He had stabbed two policemen. So I Know someone was watching over me.on that day October 6th 2019. Well Thanks to you Donny, & Marie and the family for your years of entertainment. And thanks for your friendships shown to me on your Trip… Bro. Adrian (Gus) Cooper LDS member From Sutherland Ward Sydney, Australia now residing at Toronto NSW and go to the Toronto Ward Gosford Stake, NSW Australia. KEEP SMILING. My favourite saying as you never know when it will change the attitude & life of someone . This I know….. GUS COOPER

The first and only time I saw you and your brother was back in the 70s when you came to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Missed you and Marie in 2017 and last yr. I’m definitely going to see you next yr. when you go on your. Also can’t wait until your new CD is released

Thank you for the sacrifices you made for 11 years to bring happiness to so many who needed to go back to the kinder, gentler times of youth. It was the first time I’d spoken with you since Joseph in Toronto in the 1990s when you came to the ward. You should be proud of all you’ve accomplished through each phase of your career and I am sure that there are still so many songs unsung! Looking forward to the next chapter and hoping that you can now do something for yourself including spending time with your beautiful wife Debbie and your family. Thank you for all youโ€™ve done to #LightTheWorld for all of us. With love from the Toronto ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store. I am busy planning my adventures for the year. Hope to hear some details about your schedule soon so I can include a Donny Road trip. Can’t imagine a year without one.

I think your spectacular Iโ€™ve been a fan since the first time you sang puppy love and every song after that. Your views and honesty are so true. Being a celebrity and a family man canโ€™t be easy but you sure make it look easy. Iโ€™ve never been to one of your concerts but I do hope today get to meet you. I wish you love health and happiness. I canโ€™t wait for your 62nd album to come out and what ever else you have exciting going on.

Much love,
Rachael

Can’t wait to see what you have in store for your fans. First saw you in 1973 at the Boston Garden. Cannot forget the funky piano; Next was at the South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, MA. In 1979. Went with Mom & Dad. Mom had MS. She was in an aisle seat. As you made your way up the aisle she grabbed your hand so I could shake it. Dad was outside venue saw Marie run by. He said to her that she was a sweet young lady. She stopped & turned to him & said thank you. He never forgot it; “Joseph” in Boston in mid 1990’s. My favorite theatre experience. You were sublime.
Hope Boston will be on your tour schedule. The city itself, not the outskirts. Donny, you have brightened my life.
Happy New Year. Wishing you and your family health and happiness always. Amy

memories….too many to mention. We go back to 1972 at the CNE … you and The Munch Brothers…Ontario Place with The Letterman…Joseph…and falling over the snowbank at the back if the Theatre…you and your red BMW…I could go on and on…The Donny Fan Get Together…we walked together and talked about your grandchildrens names…which turned into 11 years at The Flamingo. I made that trip from Toronto almost 40 times…and never ever wanted to fly..
Call me Carol…lol lol.
I loved every minute…to me it never got old…it never will. I miss you and Marie more than words can say…thank you for The MEMORIES. Til we meet again. ๐Ÿ˜ช๐Ÿ’–โœˆ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต

Fan since the 60โ€™s here. Couldnโ€™t wait for the Osmond part of the Andy Williams show each week. I played โ€˜He Ainโ€™t Heavy .. so much on my record player that my parents told me to stop! (Pssst: Donโ€™t tell! Iโ€™d still sneak in listens with the volume down low.)

Via media, I have loved every chapter of your career. The 70s; no words suffice. Yโ€™all were IT! Your fortitude and integrity of the 80s such a testimony to Heavenly Father, your father and Debbieโ€™s father. (My apologies as a Tennessean though that the press were such jerks to you here. Guess youโ€™ve shown them!!) Seeing you as a television personality, the daytime talk show with Marie, the Mirror Ball, the commercials you do are awesome, Mulan, the Peacock (knew it was DO from the get go!) and on and on.

Such a sweet chapter Vegas has been; 11 years with your buddy and sister. How Heavenly Father has blessed you (both)and therefore all of your fans over the past decade-plus!

Shout out for your dancers, band, crew and assistants too! I can only imagine how much youโ€™ll miss your Vegas family.

And now, Iโ€™ canโ€™t wait to turn the page!

The next chapter …The anticipation …Iโ€™m so excited!!

Donny, Iโ€™m certain of this: it is going to be full of giving back. I know youโ€™re going to produce, collaborate, and surprise!

And your own music no doubt will still make me weak-kneed!

Thank you for staying an entertainer through thick and thin. Sharing your gift and your passion, with noted sacrifice, is such a blessing to us and an amazing testimony.for us. May Heavenly Father continue to bless you, Marie, the brothers, Debbie, your own babies and theirs. You truly are a Soldier for His love.

I have always been a fan of you since I was a kid growing up. I was born in January of 2000. we have a lot of similarities between us. except that you are number 7 and I am number 9. I would always listen to your songs and sing along to them in the car. I was wondering if you could sing me a happy birthday on my birthday on the 25th. ill be 20 years old and that’s has always been my dream and my wish to one day meet you in person

The show was phenomenal! Very glad I was able to see it multiple times in Vegas and also the “tour” version! Looking forward to seeing where your next adventure leads!

Hi D., seems strange not to be going to Vegas every 3 months or so, to see you perform in Vegas(at the Orleans’ & then, Flamingo), which also brought me there to visit my family(thanks). Saw D&M over 30 times–such an exciting, energetic show that engaged the audience. I hope you’re healthy, enjoying some well-deserved family time, but keeping the voice in-shape!! Miss seeing you LIVE! Love that Peacock!!๐Ÿ’‚๐Ÿ’œ

We briefly met when The Osmond Brothers appeared at the Oakland Coliseum In CA. It was the early 70โ€™s, during the Osmond Brothers climb to fame. I was a Beatles fan! I never really expressed interest in other groups. I mentioned you to my Grandmother, who was a devoted Mormon. You and I were close to the same age and I remember I was awestruck by someone my age doing what you were doing. I thought you were really cool. My Grandmother on the other hand was not a Beatles Fan lol! So she was really glad I expressed an interest in you and your brothers. She surprised me with concert tickets and was able to get me back stage to โ€œbrieflyโ€ say hello and meet you. Now my next store neighbor at the time was Rocky Johnson, Dewayne Johnsonโ€™s Dad. Dewayne was 3 years back then.I remember telling Rocky Johnson about meeting you. He looked at me and said but you live next store to me! How cool is that? I said yeah but you were way cooler and he chased me out of his house! Iโ€™m Fun lol

That’s a funny story. Thanks for sharing it.

Always wanted to see the show in Las Vegas, couldn’t afford to go. Have seen bits on line, looked fantastic, my.one wish was to meet Marie, your sister is a beautiful woman inside and out you must miss working with her xxx

Hi D . . .

You’re show with Marie was amazing. I had the wonderful opportunity to see you twice during your run with the Flamingo! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing you and you, Marie and the brothers many times in concert. Every show was so much fun and memorable!
I have tickets to see you at Harrah’s in September, and I can’t wait!

Been a fan of yours since I was about 8. Used to watch you and the brothers on the Andy Williams show. Then there was The Donny and Marie show in the 70’s, Pyramid, Donny and Marie show in the afternoon, Fear Factor, (OMG, couldn’t believe you had all those bugs on you), Dancing with the Stars, The Masked Singer, I can See your Voice, and Many, many more awesome shows. Loved every one of them! Thank you for making my life exciting and happier by your music and by just being YOU! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wanted to share a memory with you. Do you remember back in the late 80’s “Breakfast with Donny” with Bruce Kelley and Maggie Brock” in Phoenix, AZ? I was one of the crazy girls there with 16 and ‘Tiger Beat mags. You were playing a keyboard in the winners home. It was one of my fondest memories of seeing you, which I will never forget. Can’t tell you how much happiness and beautiful memories you and your family has brought me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just wanted to say, “Hello” and hope that you and your family are doing well. Anxiously awaiting your new album! See you in September!

Love ya, Carole ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s actually me.
