A concert was held at the Wembley Stadium in London in honor of Diana, Princess of Wales, which would have been her 46th birthday. The concert was hosted by Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, who helped to organize many of the world’s most famous entertainers and singers to perform. They personally wanted Donny to perform because apparently their mother was a fan.
The concert was broadcast in 140 different countries across the world with an estimated potential audience of 500 million. The concert sold out in just 17 minutes. 63,000 people turned out to watch the performances to commemorate Diana.
After the concert, Donny & Debbie met with Prince William and Prince Harry.
